Viennese saxman Gregor Siedl and Vietnamese composer/pianist/synthesist Cao Thanh Lan are working together as Parallel Asteroid. Here they are teaming up with Cologne's up-and-coming electric guitarist Nicola Hein and Berlin's Echtzeit-percussionist Burkhard Beins for a highly energetic yet very distinctive electro-acoustic hybrid. In Junk Orbit their solar sails are constantly threatened by widely unpredictable chunks of cultural debris.
